Ernesco has embarked on a most exciting growth path, completing its effort to modernize the company's service offerings, as well as the internal mechanisms that allow it to enhance its already excellent performance.

Size and weight of cargo, no matter how large, give Ernesco's staff all of the stimulating challenges that make their work exciting. They embrace the challenge.

The computerization of Ernesco's operations helps the organization to stay abreast of all the information related to customers and to track its business transactions as closely as possible. A significant aspect of the functions Ernesco identifies for itself is Logistics. This is an important requirement for shippers outside of the Caribbean region, who may be unfamiliar with the region's terrain and port facilities, and who require guidance as to how landing sites may be adjusted to accommodate some of the plant equipment shipped. In past projects, Ernesco served in this capacity in the completion of the following facilities:

• The construction of the Trinidad Cement Limited jetty at Claxton Bay designed to receive the new plant equipment shipped on 13 heavy lift vessels with some 35,000 cubic meters of cargo. This facility has become a permanent aspect of the company's infrastructure.

• The replacement of a temporary bridge in the Point Fortin area for the heavy lift transportation of the General Electric Power Plant for Penal.

• The construction of a temporary docking facility for the receipt of plant and equipment for the Atlantic LNG.

• A temporary landing dock at Hydro-Agri (Yara Trinidad Ltd.) which accommodated heavy lift vessels which discharged the Tringen II Ammonia Plant.
